My favorite thing about Thanksgiving isn’t the actual dinner itself. I’m usually too tired from cooking all day to care about it. No, my favorite thing is the next morning.

When my feet hit the floor, I sprint to the kitchen and grab the cold turkey out of the fridge. Next I slam good old white bread in the toaster and grab the mayo and iceberg lettuce. I love slicing some delicious cold turkey breast and within minutes I have what I consider the perfect sandwich.

No stuffing, sliced tomato or cranberry relish for this purist. How come the turkey at the deli counter never tastes as good?
