Dancing Dog Ranch Witches

Contrary to what you have might heard, I am a witch (with a W) because I was born on Halloween. Luckily for those around me, I am a good witch, not a bad one. I work my spells with a computer – all in the hopes of making you laugh.

Being born on Halloween is fun. Everybody remembers your birthday, you have an excuse to have great parties where people dress up funny and you don’t get gipped on presents because no one gives presents on Halloween. Only candy. Maybe that’s why I’m always 10 pounds overweight…

When I was 3, Dearly Demented Mom made me a witch outfit complete with hat. She told me to go up to every door and say, “I’m a real witch because I was born on Halloween.” I got double the candy of any of my friends.

I still love to dress up

So, you’d figure a Halloween baby would have some witches around. And I do. I also have 10 large boxes of Halloween decorations because, being born on that magical date, you do get lots of presents – mostly decorated with pumpkins, bats, witches, skeletons, etc. You get the idea. My ideal weight wish leans more to the skeleton side. Unfortunately, in reality I’m shaped more like a pumpkin.

But back to the other characters at the Dancing Dog Ranch.

How I’d look without the Botox

This witch is rather a big deal. Dearly Demented Mom bought her for me at a gallery in Ogunquit, Maine. It’s a sleepy little ocean side town with lots of fresh lobster. I just love the place.

Anyway, it was expensive (way more than $29.99) and is an original piece of art signed by the artist. I should look him up – he might have a thing for witches. Her name is Griselda.

This witch looks down over Dearly Demented Mom as she sleeps. I figure she’s like me, always watching DDM. Love her feather boa, don’t you? She was a gift from Bethany, though I think she might have used my credit card to buy this…

Tomorrow? A bunch of characters.

Spreading laughter through the world…one chuckle at a time.
